Stray Kids has made waves with their mini-album "ATE," which has become the best-selling K-pop album in the U.S. for 2024, achieving this status as of September 30. Released on July 19, "ATE" not only outperformed notable albums by artists like Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish but also ranked fourth globally, underscoring the group's immense popularity.
The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart on August 3, making Stray Kids the first group in history to achieve five consecutive number ones after their initial entry. "ATE" has dominated various global charts, including the French SNEP album chart and Belgium’s Ultratop 200. It has also maintained its position at the top of the Greek album chart for seven weeks, setting records for K-pop and Asian artists.
In addition to this success, Stray Kids is set to perform at the "American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special" on October 6, alongside global stars such as Mariah Carey and Green Day. Their appearance further solidifies their status as a "global top artist."
Currently, Stray Kids is on their world tour, "Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE>," having recently completed sold-out shows in Seoul and Singapore. They are scheduled to perform next in Melbourne, with additional dates planned in Sydney, Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, Macau, Thailand, and Indonesia, with further expansions into Latin America, North America, and Europe expected.
